TV Report in Salzburg Plus
The edutainment game Don't Drop! was created in teamwork with six Bachelor- and Masterstudents of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in assignment of Roland Haagen. It's raising awareness for the importance of using safety equipment on building sites in an entertaining way.
Firt of all we developed a concept and a first prototype in 2011. Afterwards we created a game consisting of 6 levels, a labour market, a security equipment store and numerous challenges. Thanks to our sponsors Alpine Bau GmbH, Palfinger AG, Skylotec and Doka for the financial support. As a general contractor the user accepts construction contracts around the world and is responsible for the safety of his construction workers. Only by choosing the right safety equipment winning is possible. Don't Drop! was developed for iPhone and iPad as well as Android and can be downloaded for free until the end of this month.
I was responsible for the design of the corporate identity, the menus, navigation as well as the levels. Our team consisted of Stefan Randelshofer as our team leader, Philipp Huber, Alexander Cerny and Manuel Bösze as developers, Martin Klappacher as sounddesigner and Iva Müller as 3D artist.
